Dander Down greatly reduces the dander released from your pet bird and its habitat. Dander is an allergen and may cause an allergic reaction in some people. Dander Down is non-toxic and harmless to the birds and people. Use Dander Down on birds and furniture or other habitat that the bird frequents, to reduce dander release.
Unlike other products designed for other species of animals, EZ Care™ Dander Down was designed specifically for birds. This means you don’t need to worry about introducing your avian friend to unnecessary and potentially harmful ingredients such as isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, petroleum solvents and heavy soaps that competing products contain.
Dander Down is not a shampoo and will not leave the heavy residual of competing products. It is important, however, to bathe the bird often with Bath Time bird bath. This bathing will remove much of the Dander Down and it will need to be reapplied.
Note: Consult your veterinarian before using this or any product on a sick bird.
