We have an African Grey (Congo) and a Sengal parrot(Sargey), both are rescue birds and have their quirks and can be a bit nervous. They have never liked ladders and such on top of cages but the fold out 'patio' is the best. They are very happy in their new digs the fantop Koa Kave. I like the enclosed storage below the cages. Our birds are messy and I'm a bit OCD when it comes to a clean house. We built our home above my husbands shop and the 2 bird cages were considered during the design. We went from 3000 Sq Ft to 1500 Sq Ft, I love it. We had an 'in the wall' vaccuum system installed and there is an outlet between the cages for easy clean up. BTW the birds are in the dining room and can see the kitchen and living room and have large windows looking out to the valley and mountains. Anyways one cleaning trick I thought of was purchasing a large roll of brown shipping paper and the roller/dispenser. It fits nicely in one of the cupboards under the cages. I just tear off 2 squares each day and replace it on the bottom of the cages. Underneath that I have shelf lining that is easy to wipe up and I can swap out periodically. And one more thing or rather 2... back in the corner near Congos cage I have 2 room air cleaners. 1. Honeywell HFD-120-Q Tower HEPAQuiet Air Filter - Quietest one I have found. 2. Ionic Pro Turbo TA400 Ionic Air Purifier - Zero noise Together they do a pretty good job keeping Congos 'dander' under control.

My yellow nape loves this cage!! I have it in the 32 X 23 X 64 size. The drop down arch at the top is the greatest!! I also have another cage by the maker that my BFA is in. I seem to always find him sitting in the dropped arch of my yellow napes cage. I think I am going to have to purchase another of these cages to make my BFA happy.
