Hula Hotel Universal Top Reviewer: Sherrill (Griffin, GA) My parrotlets love the platform. When their cage is opened for out-time, they pop out on the platform really quick. The cage is very nice; good quality. The dual top is really neat as well. The side bars, front and back are vertical; top horizontal; unlike how it is advertised. Like the other viewer regarding the perches, WOW. These are for huge birds. I'll be donating the perches to a local charity. But, that is an easy remedy to fix by going to Lowes and cutting the perches down to fit the cage. I would not house finches in this cage. While you have the feeder bowls that you can easily access for changing out water and food, the finches would fly out the front door (pretty large) when you are working in the cages, ie: toy change outs, etc. The cage is excellent for parakeets, parrotlets, lovebirds, cockatiels and other small parrots. The pictured instuctions were ok, but basically you can put the cage together just by looking at it. However, I would suggest the manufacturer (IN China) label the base of the stand so you know which is up/down. The smoother part of the base is to bottom. The other part holds the cage from slipping on the stand, since the stand does not screw into the cage. The instructions do not address this at all. It took me about an hour and a half putting together two cages. I shopped around for cages and initally didn't want to spend this much money since I was getting two. Also, I wanted pure white color. I returned another pair of cages from another sellar that cost me a lot of money to ship back. I should have purchased these two initally. I got the platinum color since they didn't have white and it looks good. The cost is fair and they are quite nice. I'm happy with this purchase as well and two pair of parrotlets. Easy five star rating.   Excellent quality with affordability! Reviewer: Rick Harthun (Eagle, WI) I received this excellent quality cage yesterday and am most impressed with it including its design, functionality, and precise fit of the components! Yes, the instruction sheet is quite bad. But I started the assembly and readily figured it all out. I had called their toll free number for better instructions and they were emailed to me but I really didn't need them. My only complaint (minor) is that there should be an option for smaller diameter wood perchs. The supplied two are much too large in diameter for small birds which is what this cage is designed and advertised for. I can readily make my own. The cage looks like a million bucks and once I get the replacement perches installed my two parakeets (Bonnie & Clyde) will be living in a mansion. Again, I am most pleased with this purchase and very highly recommend it. Those available in pet stores, costing much more, do not come close in comparison.   View all 3 reviews
