in 2012 we bought the 86 inch Aviary - it houses two african greys, 2 amazons and a senegal parrot. It's PERFECT in the warm weather. Keep it covered for the winter so it doesn't rust. But it's not 2020 - 8 years in New England weather and doing great. We keep it under a 10 X 10 canopy tarp during the spring, summer and winter so the rain doesn't get in it. My birds are soooo happy. Thank you for making such a great Aviary! Thinking of buying the 85" one with the 1/2 inch bars for my Conure and parakeets...

Well, we are klutzes, so it took us A LOT longer to put it together. But I love it, the birds live it. MY one bird helped me decorate it with rope perches, etc. When I put something somewhere he didn't like he would squawk, and when I got it right, he'd say ""yup, yup, yup". It looks great, and replaced the spot that used to hold a dining room table. At first I was afraid the quakers couldn't adjust to the bar spacing, I got the 1/2 inch, because there is quite a distance between the horizontal bars, but it has been no problem for them, they can climb up on just the vertical bars fine. I did add ladders, but they mostly just fly to where they want to go. I believe all birds should have the right to fly and they get great exercise in this aviary.

Our "totally awesome" aviary was received today at 3:30. My son has been working on it since about 4:00 and only has to put the top on, not quite 4 hours later! Very nice! Our birds will love it!
