I bought this cage for 1 of my White-Froned Amazons. He took to it really well; I think he was confused about the size, honestly. It has been about 5-6 months now and he is really enjoying it. For reference, he is about 10" head to tail.
Pro(s):
- The sliding door on the side of pretty good, especially for getting to him in the mornings/nights for breakfast and dinner.
- Once built, it is quite sturdy, but also very awkward to move.
- The wheels are very tough rubber and roll very smoothly. (We have wood floors so that is nice)
Con(s):
- It's really big. If your bird isn't ready for the size, or spends most of their time out of the cage, then I don't see much reason for this. Daily comfort is nice, but, if you are home often, the size of this cage may be overkill.
- Due to its size, moving it can be a chore. Even with the innards removed.
Notes: I did not purchase the cage cover, but we do use a large blanket/sheet to cover where he sleeps.

I bought one of these two years ago It is rusting and now I have to buy a new cage You would think the money you pay for it That it would not rust even after just two years..
BC4L comment: Any wrought iron cage will rust if subjected to moisture - dry the cage after washing. Touch up any areas of exposed metal with Rustoleum, which is available at any hardware store and is safe for birds.
Excellent Cage!

We received the Oahu Oasis this past friday. Really it should be called the Oahu Castle. We can barely find our Pionus when she's inside. Fit for a princess and she loves it!
