This cage was very easy to put together and for the price it is an Excellent value -- We own two! It is quite practical to use for a travel cage, a sleeping cage, a baby cage or a temporary cage for small Parrots such as Budgies, Parrotlets and small species of Lovebirds such as the Masked or Fischers or even the larger Peach-faced, as well as other similarly sized birds. If you let your birds out to play on a playpen or handle them for as many hours as I am able to do (4-6 hours a day), then this cage could be used as a Main Cage. The Kohua Kabin™ is very convenient to have as an extra cage because it is so easy to clean and move around. We are using it for the first month as a temporary baby cage for our Peach-faced Lovebird. He is much larger than our Masked Lovebird though, so we are going to purchase a Anini Apartment™ Flattop for him soon and then we'll be keeping this one because it is so easy to take places (we're going to use it as a Travel Cage), clean-up is a breeze and it will be kept for years because of this fact. Plus, it is NOT flimsy like so many others on the market. We also have a Pacific Parrotlet using another cage of this exact style. We used it for our other Pacific Parrotlet but he couldn't move his swing because of the angle it hung due to the dome-top aspect. That feature also makes hanging swings and toys a little tricky, but that is not why I have given it 4-Stars. The top should really have a little tab to keep it in place. (Two would be even better!) Other people could quite easily place a zip-tie at the top to firmly secure it, but unfortunately that would not work for myself because of my lack if ability to remove it easily. This manufacturing oversight is why I've given it 4-stars. One little tab or two and this cage would certainly be getting a 5-star Review! It is is much more sturdy than so many other cages being sold! Others are made of cheep, flimsy plastic, but this cage is simply not at all cheeply made.

I ordered this cage Monday and it arrived Friday via FedEx. Easy to assemble and it's a perfect fit for my lineolated parakeet.

I have purchased several of these cages over the years. They save price/shipping by having the customer assemble the cage. This isn't a very daunting task...actually quite easy, but....I would seriously suggest securing the various panels in place with black plastic "zip ties" once the cage is assembled. Out cat(a Bengal)knocked over a cage like this with a Gouldian Finch in it. Had I not used the zip ties to really secure all the panels, the cage WOULD HAVE collapsed, and the bird would've been able to get out(and into the cat's mouth!) Other than that, these are a great buy compared to what you get for a comparably-sized pre-assembled cage.
